Urge Congress to Pass the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act

Among NBCC’s top legislative priorities is the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act (HR 3183/S. 1312.) This bill will waive the 24-month waiting period for Medicare and the 5-month waiting period for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits for eligible individuals with metastatic breast cancer. This month we are focusing our efforts on the House of Representatives. We have collected over 200 bipartisan House cosponsors with the goal of reaching 218 this month. Will you help us? If you’d like to work with NBCC to meet with your member of Congress and urge them to cosponsor this important bill, please email Melanie Wyne, Chief Policy Officer, at mwyne@stopbreastcancer.org
